The Alliance for African American Health in Central Texas seeks to empower African Americans living in Central Texas to improve their health status. Their intention is to reduce mortality and preventable diseases that disproportionately affect African Americans. They engage in community awareness campaigns and organize health fairs and distribute health resources to individuals that need them as well as connect individuals to health care providers.
