The City of Austin has several programs designed to reduce health disparities amongst its citizens. The Health Equity Unit provides awareness, outreach and opportunities for health screenings at health fairs as well as via the mobile health van programs. The Health Equity Unit sponsors an annual “Take Your Loved One for a Check Up” Health Screening. Mobile Mammograms, HIV testing, Flu Clinics and much more!
