The Central Texas Food Bank works with food donors across the country, financial supporters and volunteers to fill unmet needs in Central Texas. Working together has enabled Central Texas Food Bank to bring 31 million meals into Central Texas communities last year and into the hands of families and local nonprofits needing help. Central Texas Food Bank is a member of Feeding America and Feeding Texas (formerly the Texas Food Bank Network). Together with their 250 partner agencies, Central Texas Food Bank serves 21 counties in Central Texas.
Central Texas Food Bank works in partnership with the Texas Health and Human Services (HHSC) department to provide free phone and in-person consultations in English and Spanish, pre-screening, application submissions, and additional help when applying for food stamps (SNAP) and other social services.
